Privacy

The short version

AroraLabs Finds doesn't collect personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no newsletter, and no advertising trackers. We don't know who you are and we're not trying to find out.

What's stored on your device

One item: your light or dark theme preference, saved in your browser's local storage under finds-theme. It never leaves your device and we never see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.

We do not set any cookies.

Server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data — IP address, browser type, and the page requested — to serve the site and protect it from abuse. This is handled under Cloudflare's own privacy policy and we don't build profiles from it.

When you click through to Amazon

Product links pass through /go/ on this domain and then redirect to Amazon.com.au with our affiliate tag attached. That tag tells Amazon the visit came from us so any commission is credited correctly.

Once you land on Amazon you're subject to Amazon's privacy policy, and Amazon will set its own cookies. We receive only anonymous, aggregated earnings reports from Amazon — never your name, email or order details.

Children

This site isn't directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including them.

Your rights

Australian Privacy Principles, the GDPR and similar laws give you rights to access, correct and erase personal data held about you. Since we hold none, there's nothing for us to return or delete — but if you believe otherwise, get in touch and we'll look into it.

Changes

If we ever add analytics or any other data collection, this page will be updated before that goes live, and the date at the top will change.
